HELLO EVERYONE AND WELCOME TO SLAP THIS LIFE’S BLOG!
Recently stepped in my 30’s, a new road trip around the world in perspective, this time I decided to create SLAP THIS LIFE blog to take you with me in my backpack and share with you my new adventures around the globe.
Travels, atypical places, food, encounters, experiences, it’s in all simplicity and honesty that I’ll tell you about those REAL moments of life that excites me.
I hope to intrigue you, give you the smile, the desire to travel, to follow your instinct, to make your dreams come true and of course to SLAP THIS LIFE.
THE AUTHOR IN A FEW WORDS
My name is Kathleen, I’m 30 years old, I come from a small town in Savoie located in the French Alps and I’ve been living for 2 years in Huntington Beach (Orange County) in Southern California with my partner in crime Morgan.
When I was young, I played basketball at a high level then I continued my studies in Business until I graduated with a Master’s degree mainly realized in a work-study training program with specializations in Marketing and Communication. I’ve worked for about ten companies in France, New Zealand and in the United States in various sectors of activity (sports equipment sales, engineering, events, web, fashion, and advertising), most of the time as a project manager but also as a Marketing and Freelance Communication Consultant.
Rambling for some, exciting for others, these last 10 years of hyperactivity punctuated by personal and professional challenges in France and abroad have allowed me to live very enriching life experiences. And it’s not over yet!
I’m passionate about traveling, sport, gastronomy, music, fashion, encounters, entrepreneurship… By passionate people, optimists in life who dare to embark on crazy projects and who will have the ability to do everything possible to achieve their goals.
At the end of a Californian adventure of more than 2 years and in full preparation of a new trip around the world I decide to launch SLAP THIS LIFE to share with passion and sincerity my adventures, these moments of life, these encounters that are close to my heart.
